What are the minimum criteria for Christianity?

I have a broad definition–follower of the teachings of Christ.

What do you think makes you, or perhaps others a Christian?

   I like your broad, simple definition. I think there are many who would like to add to it. A paradox to me is that many people say “faith, not works” is the only way to “salvation” (another loaded word), but have a certain set of prescribed beliefs that define what faith is. In other words, this kind of faith, or believing in certain things, seems to be a new “work” requirement.
