He is indeed, calling for us to move forward/evolve toward a return to an earlier understanding of Christianity. As my friends here and I like to say, "If it sounds like a paradox, it must be true!" DVD, I’m not sure why he went with that title (other than a marketing push from his previous book, A New Kind of Christian) and he actually “apologizes” for it a bit near the end of the book. Sounds like a book I'll need to read. I'm especially interested that he addresses the Greek influence on today's christian beliefs. Gives him credibility, in my opinion, because Greek influence is astounding when you start to learn about it.
